We do Recover, we are not alone….
YOGA for RECOVERY is open to anyone and everyone dealing with their own addictive behavior or affected by the addictive behaviors of others. In the midst of obsessive addicted behavior we become disconnected, restless and irritable. The scared teachings of yoga helps us reconnect back to our physical, mental and spiritual self. Using tools such as meditation, breathing exercises, sound vibrations, Reiki, Yin Yoga and the physical practice (asana) to help address the issues and start to re-wire our brain, taking us out of the “fight or flight response”(stress & trauma) and into the “rest and digest”(relax & calm). Connecting us within, and bringing us back to our natural state.
This is a yoga PRACTICE, meaning exactly that..a lifelong practice…so keep coming back. With that we will also have some resources for you start to develop a home practice because we know life sometimes gets in the way.
ALL ADDICTIONS are welcome. We are committed to provide a safe and sacre place to heal, to move ( or just lay down lol, bring a pillow) to breathe, to grow strong, steady & stable and even share if you feel like it. Leaving the class with a strong backbone and an open heart…rested, restored and renewed.
Wear comfortable clothing ( we will spend 1/2 the time sitting the other 1/2 moving) Class is 75 minutes
This is a DONATION CLASS, give what you can. ( suggested donation $15) We give it all back to local recovery programs and events.
